Emmerdale viewers were left raging “I knew it” after a character on the ITV soap finally confessed to pushing Caleb Miligan (William Ash).
Last week, Caleb, who has angered plenty of residents of the Dales, headed up to Woodland Ridge and was followed by an unknown person.
As the show bad boy let out a huge scream, the mystery character came out of nowhere and pushed him off the edge of the cliff – and Caleb has been in a coma since.

As expected, fans have been speculating who pushed him – but in Tuesday’s episode (June 20) the culprit seemed to confess to the crime.
In the episode, Caleb’s half-sister Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) headed to hospital to see Caleb – where she was later joined by Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
They were then joined by Caleb’s son Nicky (Lewis Cope) who has been absent from the village for a while.
But right at the end of the episode, and overcome with emotion, Nicky seemed to confess it was him that shoved him.
“I thought I killed you” he sobbed.
And it’s fair to say his confession had the show’s viewers talking, with plenty claiming they had already figured it out.
“Told ya it was Nicky!” raged one fan, as someone else said: “Yep I thought it was Nicky!”
A third agreed: “Knew it!”
While some else wasn’t too impressed and proclaimed: “Soooo boring that it’s Nicky.”
It comes after Caleb star William teased a ‘huge potential’ for Nicky’s mum to arrive following his character’s brutal attack.
The ex of Caleb Milligan has been mentioned by both Nicky and Caleb over the last few months.
And William has said that they’d both like to see the character turn up in the village.
He told told Daily Star and other press: “There’s huge potential for Caleb’s ex wife and Nicky’s mum.
“There’s already a bit of a picture of that character even though she’s never been in it. We’ve talked about her quite a lot.”
“Caleb had a line talking to Leyla [Harding, played by Roxy Shahidi] about his kids, plural.
“I’ve never had that discussion with producers or anything but Nicky may have siblings and I may have other kids and there’s potential for those characters to come into it and I think it would be nice to flesh it out.
“There’s a lot of backstory there I think.”
