Gino D’Acampo takes drugs in unearthed clip from TV show as chef 'caught with cannabis'

Italian chef Gino D’Acampo ingested drugs on camera in an unearthed clip from his hit TV show with pals Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix.

The 46-year-old Italian celebrity chef can be seen taking drugs in a resurfaced clip from the 2020 series of Gordon, Gino and Fred’s American Road Trip.

This is something that comes after the much-loved chef was seen arriving back in the UK with his two pals and co-stars when he was allegedly caught with cannabis in his possession by Border Force sniffer dogs.

It was reported by The Sun today, that the trio of celebrities were arriving back in the UK when they landed at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire.

Gino D’Acampo could be seen ingesting drugs in the clip

A source told the paper that after landing at the airport in Gordon’s private plane, sniffer dogs “suddenly started circling Gino”.

Held up by Border Force for a short while, the insider went on to claim that “Gino went away with uniformed police for questioning”.

Adding: “It was Gino’s bags that were stopped and searched, and a small box with some weed inside was found,” making it clear that nothing was found on Gordon or Fred.

The paper reported that Gino is said to have spoken to pals Fred and Gordon the next day, with him allegedly explaining that he had been smoking it to help with his bad back.

Gordon was completely against the idea

And now, in unearthed scenes from the trio’s hit TV programme, Gino can be seen eating food that contains cannabis.

In the episode, the trio can be seen going to San Francisco in America, to a restaurant that infuses food with cannabis. In California, cannabis is legal.

With Gordon against drugs and choosing not to partake, Gino and Fred was keen to get involved, with the duo tucking in to the unusual and unique offerings.

Gino ate a sandwich with drugs infused into it

The foods contained both CBD and THC, the former being used widely for its medicinal benefits, and the latter known for being the component in cannabis that creates a “high”.

In the clip Gino is given some of the concoction in a pipette, which he can drop onto his food or in his drink, which comes before he tucks into a cucumber sandwich infused with the drug.

While tucking into his sandwich, Gino told pal Gordon: “To me this is exciting, it’s modern, it’s new, it’s fashion.”
