The video has caused controversy online with some social media users calling it “vulgar and hyper-sexualised”.

However, others have called the video empowering as a non-binary person is celebrating their body.

Susanna and Richard welcomed journalist Alex Phillips radio presenter Shivani Dave onto the show to debate the topic.

However, Susanna was forced to correct Richard twice as he got both Sam and Shivani’s pronouns wrong during the chat.

Viewers rushed to their keyboards as the moments didn’t go unnoticed by those watching at home.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Richard Madeley reading out the parts of Sam Smith’s video that GMB couldn’t show & then getting their pronouns wrong & being corrected by Susanna is pure Partridge.”

While a fourth social media user wrote: “Omg @richardm56 getting everyone’s pronouns completely wrong…. @susannareid100 was quick to correct him

Despite being celebrated by the singer’s fiercely loyal fanbase, many viewers have also called for the tightening of age restrictions following the video’s release.
