Two-time Grammy award winner Tori Kelly has been rushed to hospital after she reportedly collapsed with blood clots.
The singer, 30, was out for dinner with friends in Los Angeles when her heart started beating fast and she reportedly passed out “for a while”, a source told TMZ, adding that the situation is “really serious”.
The source adds that Tori’s friends wanted the star to be taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital — one of the best in the region — rather than to a general hospital downtown, so they carried her outside, put her in a vehicle and drove to her to the hospital themselves, rather than waiting for an ambulance.

According to TMZ, the 30-year-old was found to have had blood clots in her legs and lungs, with doctors working to determine whether she has any clots around her heart.

The songstress has been in and out of consciousness while in hospital.
Her loyal legion of fans have flocked to social media with messages of concern and support after hearing the news, with one writing: “Lord pls protect tori kelly. she and her entire family needs your healing.”

While a third added: “I still can’t process this, just when she was about to release her new EP, this is so scary and sad. Queen you better stay strong @torikelly.”
