Holly Willoughby is reportedly being eyed up by BBC bosses to host a new show together with ITV co-star Bradley Walsh.
Holly, 42, left hit morning show This Morning last month after a huge plot to kidnap and murder Holly was uncovered by police. She also opted to leave the show in the wake of the scandal that engulfed the show when Philip Schofield dramatically left the programme in May.
Now, Holly is seen to be the favourite to host the rebooted version of Gladiators, which was presented by Swedish bombshell Ulrika Jonsson. The first series of the rebooted version of the show was filmed earlier this year and is set to hit screens in January.

It has been thirty years since Gladiators, which first took off in the United States, first aired in the UK. Becoming a smash hit on ITV throughout the 1990s, the show was known for the in-house cast, which became known for romps behind the scenes.
Fellow ITV presenter Bradley Walsh is already confirmed to be one of the new hosts. The Chase presenter is also due to bring son Barney onto the show in his first major hosting gig.
But insiders close to the show have revealed that Holly could be joining the line-up for the new series of the show, which would be filmed next year. Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “The BBC love Brad and Barney, but it’s also been proved Brad and Holly have an amazing dynamic as they featured together on the Beeb show Take Off.
“Since Holly’s departure from This Morning, lots of channels and broadcasters have been thinking about what she could bring to their shows,” they continued. “And as she’s such a big star, she’s a natural fit for a huge entertainment show, which the reboot of Gladiators unquestionably is.”
The insider also confirmed that they will let the first season of the rebooted show before BBC bosses reach out to Holly to take on the hosting privilege. The potential move comes after Holly’s career at ITV remains hanging in the balance.
Holly left This Morning after 14 years on the show after the plot to kidnap and kill her was exposed by the Metropolitan Police. Her time at another ITV staple Dancing on Ice is still yet to be decided.
ITV bosses had been set to give This Morning a rebirth in the new year, with Holly finding a new permanent partner to present the show with. Since she opted to leave the show, bosses have been scrambling to find a permanent rota of presenters including Alison Hammond, Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson.
The move also comes a year after Holly, together with then on-screen partner Phil, caused an uproar due to ‘Queue-gate’. When former monarch Queen Elizabeth II passed away, fans hit out at the pair, who seemed to cut into the queue to see her coffin, despite the fact that other well-known faces including David Beckham and Susanna Reid queued together with other well-wishers.
