Strictly Come Dancing reportedly has its sights set on none other than Phillip Schofield.
The beloved BBC dance show is itching to have him as a possible contestant after his dramatic departure from This Morning on Saturday (May 23), following a rumoured feud with his co-host Holly Willoughby.
A source told The Sun: “Phil is in the sights of Strictly.

“They would love to have him on board because of the publicity it would generate for the show.”
Phil has reportedly been courted by Strictly before, but this time, The Sun reports the offer is more aggressive.
Since his shocking axe from This Morning, speculation has been rife about his next move.
The source added: “Phil has had approaches from broadcasters like Channel 5 who are keen to discuss possible projects.”
While Phil currently lies low, contemplating his next move, some have been left wondering if he’d be willing to slip on his dancing shoes.
The source added: “Given he’s currently lying low and trying to work out his next move, it’s unlikely he will put on his dancing shoes but stranger things have happened.
“No one thought he’d ever leave This Morning and look how that ended up.”
Schofield himself addressed leaving This Morning in a statement, in which he said his role had become “untenable.”
Holly will now be supported by a revolving cast of stand-in presenters until a permanent successor is decided.
ITV said Schofield, 61, will front a new show on the channel.
Speaking on GB News, former This Morning host Eamonn, 63, had his say on Phil’s departure, telling his co-host Isabel Webster: “Holly knows the truth, the story is with her.”
