He is known for his love of cars and witty presenting style on fan-favourite shows such as Top Gear and Grand Tour.
Eccentric broadcaster Jeremy Clarkson hosted the automobile programme on the BBC from 1988 until 2015 alongside his friends and co-stars Richard Hammond and James May.
Fans simply couldn’t get enough of the trio’s extreme pranks and cheeky sense of humour as they travelled all over the world pushing the best and worst cars on the roads to their limits.

But it wasn’t always plain sailing for the popular TV personality, as loyal fans will remember how he was fired from the BBC show after he punched producer Oisin Tymon back in 2015.
As the dad-of-three celebrates his 63rd birthday with a bang, Daily Star have taken a deep dive inside his little known rehab stint.
Let’s take a look…
Following the fallout of his public exit, the dad-of-three was sent off to a rehabilitation centre for a month because he was in danger of transforming into a “drooling vegetable”.
In his weekly column with The Sunday Times later that year, the star revealed that he had also lost his mother around the time of the “unprovoked” attack.
He revealed: “Back in the summer it was decided by people with serious faces and stethoscopes that I needed a complete break. And they weren’t talking about two weeks in the sun with a book, and a million cocktail parties every night. They were talking about a whole month in the Stone Age.
“They said very sternly that after dealing with the stresses of a dying mother and the BBC television chief Danny Cohen and a lost job and a million other things besides, I was about to become a drooling vegetable, and that I must go immediately to a prison where there would be no contact at all with the outside world.”
At the time, Jeremy confessed he agreed to the month-long stay because he saw it as a “gentleman’s retreat” where residents could be massaged by “half-naked Vietnamese women who spends all day smearing my eyes with cucumber juice and rubbing my feet with warm stones.”
But the reality couldn’t be anything further than the truth as the TV personality detailed the gruelling 5am wake-up calls followed by yoga before lights out at 10pm.
He went on to compare the recovery facility to a “prison” as he recalled sleeping in dormitories, cell block rooms which were monitored by “guards.”
Luckily, Jeremy managed to find an alternative way to find inner peace in contrast to the organised exercised designed to encourage tranquillity such as meditation and t’ai chi.
The presenter concluded: “There’s a cure for this that isn’t uncomfortable at all. It’s how I spent my last week in prison: sitting in the sunshine, chatting with friends and smoking.”
