ITV star Linda Robson has revealed that she sometimes gets told off by her family for opening up about their private life on Loose Women.
The 65-year-old actress made her debut on the daytime talk show 20 years ago as a guest panelist but she has been a regular fixture on the programme in 2012. Like her co-stars, she is known to spill the beans on her home life away from the camera and her family have warned her that she occasionally shares too much with viewers watching at home.
Linda told Daily Star: “I get told off sometimes. Even if they are not watching the show, someone will text and say ‘You never guess what your mum’s said today’. I’m very honest but I’m not a horrible woman.”

The Birds of a Feather actress recently took a holiday from Loose Women but is glad to be back with the girls. She explained: “I had a little break because my sister wasn’t well so I took her on a cruise and it was nice to go back and see everybody.
“We’ve been pre-recording shows for the Christmas period as well.” Linda joined her Loose Women pals on their UK tour up and down the country earlier this year.
Speaking about hitting the road, Linda said: “We had the tour this year, which was amazing. We were like Take That when we came out of the stage door with people waiting for us outside.
“I think you forget that a lot of people, especially older people, that are at home all day, we’re like their mates and tuning in to watch us every day. It’s like going to work with your mates everyday. We socialise a lot together and we’ve got our Christmas party coming up so we’ll be there together.”
Linda is known for playing Tracy Stubbs in sitcom Birds of a Feather from 1989 to 1998 and then again from 2014 until 2020 alongside Lesley Joseph and Pauline Quirke.

While Pauline is busy running her academy and enjoying being at home with her grandchildren, Linda and Lesley have something up their sleeve. “Hopefully I’m doing something with Lesley, there’s something in the pipelines for me and Lesley to do a series together, like a reality one,” Linda revealed. “We’re all still really good friends.”
Linda Robson was speaking to Daily Star on behalf of altindex.com and Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 12.30pm
