This Morning viewers were delighted to see Josie Gibson and Rylan Clark back on the famous blue sofa to present the last show before Chrisrtmas.
They were back on presenting duty on Friday (December 22) morning and kicked off the programme by revisiting the moment Josie admitted to having a crush on her co-star during her time in the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle. After the clip, Rylan cheekily asked: “How often do you come here?”
A red-faced Josie replied: “I am here quite a bit these days but I tell you what I appreciate a fine specimen of a man, and you are Rylan. The former X Factor asked: “Can we please clip this up? I’m putting this on my CV” before adding: “Honestly Jos, I was lying there like a sloth and when you said that on the show my phone just went ‘bam bam bam’ and I was I was like ‘What is going on?”

Josie interrupted: “I do tell you you’re beautiful every morning when you come in.” Rylan agreed: “You do but I just thought I was being polite. Listen, In another life Jos, it could have been.” As the pair embraced in a hug, Josie said: “Look how good we could have been. If we don’t meet anybody by the time we’re 50, can we get married?” Rylan replied: “Deal.”

After the opening scene, fans took to social media to share their excitement. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “These gorgeous two today.” Another added: “Ooh it’s Rylan. Lovely!”. A third person said: “Why do I get the vibe I’m missing a good one today?” Someone else wrote: “Yay! Rylan and Josie.”
It comes after Rylan ‘walked off’ the set of ITV’s This Morning just before the show was about to start last month. Lorraine stand-in presenter Ranvir Singh crossed live to Rylan and Josie on set to get a hint of what was coming up.Ranvir complimented Josie on her white shirt but Rylan seemed to take offence and walked off camera.

He retorted: “Yeah, I’ll go. Bye!” after Ranvir added: “Not you Rylan,” following her compliment to Josie. The well-liked presenter then disappeared from the camera’s view, leaving viewers at home puzzled about his whereabouts. However, he was back in position next to Josie just moments later as This Morning resumed its broadcast.
This surprising exit happened as fans were calling for him to become a full-time host of the show. After being away from the This Morning studio for over a year, Rylan returned this week alongside Ruth Langsford. The duo has been praised for their ‘natural chemistry’ and ‘energy’, with viewers describing their partnership as a ‘breath of fresh air’.

Rylan has hosted the show with Josie, Ruth and Cat Deeley in recent weeks as ITV bosses try to find permanent replacements for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby who both left the show earlier this year.
