Kylie Minogue and Jean-Claude Van Damme were two of the sexiest stars on screen in the nineties, so their film Street Fighter unsurprisingly ended in a steamy fling between the pair.
Whilst the film was not a success, it did spark plenty of rumours about the pair as their chemistry sparked on screen during the 1994 film.
Almost 20 years later, the actor finally admitted that the pair had a brief but steamy fling while working together, but made it clear he wasn’t keen on talking about it.

According to The Guardian, during a 2012 interview, Van Damme became irritated when Kylie’s name was mentioned in relation to an affair.
He said: “I tell you what, you should ask her.
“She’ll have a better memory. I’m 51 years old, do you know how much I was punched in the face on The Expendables? No, no. No. And let’s just say it happened, so what? Who wants to know?”
When pushed on the subject, he elaborated and seemingly confirmed the dalliance, as he said: “Sometimes you let go of stuff. I don’t know, maybe. Yes. OK. Yes, yes, yes.
“It happened. I was in Thailand, we had an affair. Sweet kiss, beautiful love-making.
“It would be abnormal not to have had an affair, she’s so beautiful and she was there in front of me every day with a beautiful smile, simpatico, so charming, she wasn’t acting like a big star.
“I knew Thailand very well, so I showed her my Thailand. She’s a great lady.
He also joked that meeting Kylie was one of the positives to come out of the film, which was poorly received at the time.
Van Damme said in a 2007 interview with Empire Magazine: “Street Fighter was corny to me.
“But there were nice things. I got to see the land of Australia and had a mini-affair with Kylie Minogue. If you ever see her, say hello for me to Kylie.”
Years later, Van Damme stormed off a live episode of Australia morning chat show Sunrise when his fling with Kylie was brought up, as he asked: “What the f*** is going on with Australia?”
He ranted: “Those questions, the press have been asking me the same questions for the past 25 years. I’m coming to Australia to maybe do something different with the audience.
“Those interview you are giving me on TV right now, they are very boring,” before deciding to walk off the set.
