Johnny Depp is being lined up for a Pirates Of The Caribbean comeback.
Speaking at the 95th Academy Awards, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, 79, let slip that he is part of the creative conversation working on his return as Captain Jack Sparrow.
The 59-year-old was ditched by Disney following his fall out with ex-wife Amber Heard, 36, over allegations of abuse. Asked about Johnny’s comeback, Jerry said: “I would love to have him in the movie.

“We are all working on it and we will see how it all pans out. We are very excited.”
Bruckheimer’s latest comments come after he praised Depp for being an “amazing, talented artist.”
He told Deadline: “He’s somebody that you can rely on and he’s just terrific. I think Johnny is an utter friend and an amazing artist and, again, you go through things in life you wish you hadn’t, but he’s still a talented artist.”
Depp was dropped from the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise during his divorce trial with ex-partner Amber Heard. The 59-year-old won a whopping $50million after winning the trial and his loyal fans urged him to work on a comeback to the fantasy franchise.
Johnny first took on the role as Jack Sparrow back in 2003 in the first installation of the franchise, called Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
The actor then returned for the role in the sequels ‘Dead Man’s Chest, At World’s End’, and ‘On Stranger Tides’. He made the final appearance in 2017’s ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’.
The news of Johnny’s return to Hollywood comes after he was said to be performing at two concerts in memory of legendary rock guitarist Jeff Beck will take place at the Royal Albert Hall in May.
Rod Stewart and Eric Clapton are also said to perform at the tribute concerts.
