Katie Price has blasted her Christmas panto performance, despite the £60k pay packet she is receiving for the gig.
Price, 45, is currently getting stuck into rehearsals ahead of the her big panto debut as Carabosse in the play version of Sleeping Beauty. The model and businesswoman is set to be taking on the role in Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena later this month.
But reflecting on her rehearsals so far, Katie slammed the bosses of the panto for giving her “insulting” songs to sing. Speaking with sister Sophie on her official podcast, Katie revealed she is not best pleased with the music in her show.

Opening up on her views, she said: “I’m not from the West End, right, and these songs aren’t singing, they’re more like talking. I don’t know how to learn it. It’s not even the kind of music I would listen to.”

Sophie was left fighting back laughter as Katie admitted bosses had given her songs that matched her vocal ability – or lack thereof. But the Pricey was not happy with the organisers for not believing in her potential.
“What an insult!” she exclaimed. “We’ve given her songs that we know she can sing’. I think even dad could sing ’em.”

She then appealed to potential customers, who will be buying tickets to see her. “Watch me make a fool of myself, forget the lines and just mess up,” she joked.
This is not the only theatre performance the Celebrity Big Brother winner has for the public. She is also set to star in a more adult piano, taking on the role as Queen Rat in the raunchy play Big Dick Whittington and his Pussy.
Taking to Instagram to share the news she was joining the adult panto line-up, Katie wrote: “We all have a naughty side, and I’m here to bring it out in full force with this adult panto extravaganza! Get ready for a night of laughter, mischief, and more innuendos than you can handle!
