Loose Women star confirms career U-turn as exciting project is ‘nearly finished’

Loose Women’s Jane Moore opened a time capsule live on air which unveiled a lot of plans she’d had in mind for this year.

The panellist revealed that her hopes of writing a crime novel is finally almost here as she’s gearing up to release a book next year. The 61-year-old admitted her new gig as she opened a time capsule live on air.

She discovered a letter she had written to herself with some predictions for the next five years. Jane read aloud: “Dear me in five years, here’s hoping that you’re happy and healthy, your family too.

“You’re a newish or expectant grandma, not yet.” She explained that five years ago she had hoped that by now it would be on its way, but soon moved on.

Jane added: “Number three, you’ve written that crime novel or screen play that you’re always banging on about. It’s imminent, yes I shall be finishing it off in January and February.

“Number four, you found that cute little cottage abroad that you’ll eventually retire to. No not yet, not with the housing market in the state it is.”

Her co-star Kaye Adams said that her successes weren’t bad as they reflected on the past five years. Jane’s new writing gig won’t come as a huge shocker to her after previously releasing six novels, but it’ll be her first crime book.

Mostly, the star is seen on Loose Women with her fellow panellists – and Jane often shares little sneak-peeks at her outfits prior to heading on the show, and that alone has gathered a lot of traction from her fans.

With such a large panel on Loose Women, the women have been forced to address rumours of feuds over the years, and Jane joined Katie Piper last year to speak on the reported rows. Katie said at the time: “Everyone’s different in their own way, and that’s what makes the show fresh each time.”

Meanwhile Jane added: “It’s like female friendship in general – it just evolves. When women get together, they might talk about their marriage, kids, or something in the news, but each time their perspective might have changed.”
