Love Island champ Jack Fincham has denied using drugs after he was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, careless driving, driving without insurance and driving while displaying false number plates.
The 31-year-old, who has denied the allegation of drug-driving via his lawyer and has not been charged, was stopped by police near his home in Kent in August.
It’s reported that he had been allegedly travelling at a high speed and was given a blood test, and held on suspicion of careless driving and driving without insurance.
Jack, who won Love Island back in 2018 with now-ex Dani Dyer, has reportedly been released under investigation until November 26.
According to The Sun, a source close to Jack claimed that the reality star had been driving with private plates rather than false ones, and that he had not taken drugs.
Jack’s lawyer, Conor Johnstone, of MAJ Law, told the publication: “Mr Fincham has not been charged with drug driving and denies any drug consumption whatsoever.
“There is no evidence at this stage that Mr Fincham drove whilst over the legal limit and we are hopeful that his blood tests will prove the same.”
Daily Star has contacted a representative of Jack’s for comment.
Kent Police told Daily Mirror: “On Saturday 26 August 2023, officers arrested a 31-year-old man from Swanley on suspicion of drug driving, careless driving, driving without insurance and driving while displaying false number plates, on the A2 near Dartford. He has since been bailed until 26 November 2023.”
Jack is reportedly set to return to Love Island for its brand-new international spin-off, Love Island Games, which is set to film in Fiji.
The new show will bring together stars of Love Island from the UK, USA and Australia for another chance of love while also completing various challenges.
A new all-stars version has been confirmed too, which will air in January in place of the winter version, which has been put on pause once again.
