Love Island’s Maura Higgins has been incredibly busy since she left the series in 2019.
The TV favourite kicked off her career as a model and host after leaving the show, but 2023 has been a big year for Maura after landing her first role back on Love Island in a different capacity.

She was soon named the social host for Love Island USA as the series kicked off in Fiji, but just after the season came to a close and she returned home, she’s back off again with a new gig.
Taking to Instagram, Maura posted a photo of her back at the airport and confirmed what’s coming next.

The TV favourite shared a snap at Gatwick before clambering onto the plane and making the most of her long journey as she confirmed she was “reading a script”.
Sharing a photo of the script in her hand – with all the important information shaded out – Maura wrote: “Script reading on my flight… today I’m going to be an actress. BTW I have never acted in my life so this will be very interesting.”
The TV favourite gave no further information as to what she’ll be doing as part of the new project, but fans are already eager to hear more.

It comes just days after Maura returned home to the UK after her stint in Fiji.
She landed back home and immediately reunited with her pal Leah Taylor who appeared on Love Island UK while Maura was in Fiji.
Just before jet-setting once again as she embarks on her new job, Maura posted a dazzling snap to confirm she was “back in the city”.
The beauty returned for a few nights and before heading off she had one more glamorous night out in London as she wowed in a denim white co-ord.

She opted for a glowy makeup look while her brunette locks were straightened and fell down her back.
Her followers and friends immediately rushed to swoon, as Leah wrote: “You are a dream,” while Molly Mae said: “Sooo stunning my lady.”
It’s unclear when Maura will be back in the UK – but it looks like she’s got some big projects coming in the meantime.
