Love Island ‘s Maura Higgins has been left traumatised after her home was raided by trespassers.
Sources close to the Irish star say three masked intruders left Maura “shaken” and likely to improve her security system.
Police were called to the scene after burglars cracked open a large metal gate protecting her home, breaking in as an attempt to steal Maura’s vehicles.

The source commented, “Maura was shaken up.
“Neighbours caught it all on CCTV and it was chilling to see three masked men ram through the gates and start trying to break into cars.
“Maura has lived in her gated community for three years and said she no longer feels safe.
“There are a number of high- profile names in that complex and living in that area. It is worrying for everyone, including Maura.”
The particular Essex area is known to be a safe haven for public figures, which is why the break-in came as so much of a shock to the TV personality.
Celebs including Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are also residents of the neighbourhood.
The source added, “The complex has a real community feel so they are all supporting each other and the CCTV has been shared around.
“Maura is upping security on her car and at her home.”
Maura bravely isn’t letting the break-in ruin her weekend, having since been pictured out and about.
The public figure today attended a Disney Plus launch event for The Kardashians.
Maura shared a post to Instagram, rocking a blush pink blazer mini-dress by luxury brand Alice & Olivia, matching classic fit Louboutins, and a chic black Celine clutch.
The Love Island alumni attended the event with well-dressed celebrity hairstylist, Carl Embridge.
The post’s caption featured a light-hearted Mean Girls reference, with Maura writing, “Nice wig Janice, what’s it made of? “Your moms chest hair!””
