Britney Spears and Paris Hilton showed their decades-long friendship is still going strong as they hit a party in Hollywood together – however Paris was forced to hit back at conspiracy theorists.
The stars both headed to Tinseltown to celebrate the birthday of celebrity agent Cade Hudson, with Paris sharing a sweet snap of the three of them which she later had to defend.
After fans accused the millionaire reality star and businesswoman of adding Britney in with Photoshop, Paris hit back.

She wrote: “To all of those asking. Some of these photos were taken on an iPhone so they ended up being blurry. So they used app called Remini to make it look unblurry and sometimes the AI distorts images.
“Didn’t want to even dignify this with a response. But some of these conspiracy theories are absolutely ridiculous.”
Paris and Britney were firm friends from early in their careers and although they haven’t been snapped out together much amid Britney’s 13-year conservatorship, they have remained close, with Paris recently calling the singer “so sweet and down to Earth”.
The glam bash was held at The Park Santa Monica and was bursting with A-listers – with Robert Pattinson, James Marsden and Demi Lovato apparently among those on the guest list.
But, according to TMZ, hotel heiress Paris, 41, and Toxic singer Britney spent the whole evening hanging out together.
It was a rare night out for Britney, who is not photographed at events much since her conservatorship, which has led fans to suspect something is still not quite right.
The highly-publicised arrangement was set up in 2008 and ended in November 2021, and the singer has since posted about doing some things for the first time in years, like enjoying a glass of wine and heading off for a drive by herself.

The pop princess, 41, has been at odds with members of her family and has made several comments about them since the guardianship finished.
But shortly before Christmas she seemed to be extending an olive branch to her mum Lynne by inviting her for a coffee.
Sharing a snap of herself in Mexico, the star wrote on Instagram: “Instagram doesn’t like posts of people revealing their bodies anymore so here’s a selfie of me in Mexico!!!
“Mom and Dad … I crossed the border and I made it!!!”
She then added: “After no coffee for 15 years… Mom we can go have coffee together now!!!”
