Popstar Jessie J has given her fans an intimate look into her pregnancy journey by sharing a naked clip having her bump covered in plaster for her mother’s art project.
The 35-year-old singer, who is expecting her first child, took to Instagram to share the video of her body completely covered in plaster to make a cast of her pregnant shape.
The clip showed her mother Rose smothering her body with the plaster, surrounded by snaps documenting recent moments in Jessie’s pregnancy.

Jessie J captioned the video by saying: “I am 35 years old tomorrow and this is the best birthday gift I will ever get.”
Referencing the video of her bump covered in plaster, Jessie added: “My Mum turning me into her art project / strawberry Froyo.”
She recently wrote about her unborn child, thanking him for coming to her and trusting her body to keep him safe.
She gushed: “Thank you for coming to me. Thank you for trusting me that my body can keep you safe.
“Thank you for gifting me with the most special experience already so far and with the most important role I will ever play in my entire life.
“I love you so hard it blows my mind this is real. I’m yours forever my son. I cannot wait to meet you. And see this smile in real life.”
Jessie has also been candid about the challenges that come with pregnancy.
She recently shared on Instagram that she was struggling to keep her fluid levels up after being struck down with the flu while heavily pregnant.
The Price Tag singer has filmed a forthcoming documentary that will chronicle her return to music as she becomes a mother.
The documentary will see her discuss everything from pregnancy, miscarriage, health problems, heartbreak and love life to her fall from public favour and planned comeback.
The star has taken a step back from the spotlight in recent years amid a series of flop records and health problems.
However, she played the 02 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on Monday with a TV crew in tow, and has been working on a new album.
A world tour is set to follow in 2024.
