Sam Smith was branded “demonic” and “evil” by a cruel stranger as he walked through Central Park, a shocking video shows.
In the footage the singer is minding their own business when an unidentified stranger begins hurling abuse at them.
Non-binary Sam has been in the public spotlight recently following complaints about their performances at the Brits and Grammys, as well as their raunchy video for I’m Not Here To Make Friends.

A woman starts screaming at Sam in the video as he walks through New York’s Central Park, shouting: “Sam Smith belongs in hell, you demonic, twisted, sick b****d.”
The person then makes the unfounded allegation that “You sick motherf****r Sam Smith, you’re evil.”

Another person then joins in towards the end of the video, shouting about Illuminati before the video then cuts off.
Sam did not respond to the heckles and continued walking.
However, at one point they appeared to also be filming the person who was shouting at them.
Singing their song Unholy at the Grammys alongside Kim Petras, the performance featured a devil theme, with one person branding it as “satanic”.

It was reported that they have obtained 18 complaints filed with the Federal Communications Commission following the event.
Some complaints compared the performance to devil worship, with one person saying they were going to cancel their TV service.
Some said it was anti-Christian and had the potential to “increase violence against Christians”.
One complaint said: “It was wrought with evil imagery and depicted DEVIL WORSHIPING ACOLYTES writhing around on the floor virtually naked and in CAGES.
“It was broadcast on live television, and I cannot believe that CBS allowed it.”

While another said: “The performance of Sam Smith had people being whipped and in a cage. My 15-year-old son who is an aspiring musician was traumatized by it.”
Politicians shared their opinions on Twitter, with Marjorie Taylor Greene saying: “The Grammy’s featured Sam Smith’s demonic performance and was sponsored by Pfizer.
“And the Satanic Church now has an abortion clinic in NM that requires its patients to perform a satanic ritual before its services. American Christians need to get to work.”
