Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse has given birth to her first child with husband Marius Iepure.
Taking to her Instagram account on Christmas morning, Oti shared the good news along with a snap of the new family of three, cradling her newborn baby close to her chest. Marius was holding the family dog as they both looked adoringly on at their little one.
Oti captioned her post: “Merry Christmas. Wishing you all a wonderful festive season and special memories with loved ones.”

But fans were more distracted by her new arrival, as her former Strictly co-stars chimed in to comment. Ria Hebden posted: “Congratulations beautiful and welcome to the world little one.”
While Steph McGovern penned: “Merry Christmas you wonderful family of three!” and Judi Love wrote: “Congratulations sweetie! Merry Christmas.” Even 2023 Strictly winner Ellie Leach chimed in with a comment of her own – despite Oti not featuring on her series.
Back in August, Oti announced her pregnancy at the end of her Breakfast Show, before opening up on social media: “Our ‘yes’ year is getting better and better and so is our little family.
“We feel finally ready and excited to share our wonderful news. This is new for us scarier than swimming with sharks, jumping off cliffs or even swinging from bridges but the best news we could have ever ask for [heart emoji].
“We love our little bundle of joy so much already… and can’t wait to see what our future will now look like as family of 3 plus Leo. It’s been a beautiful journey so far with close friends and family and nearly over but we have learnt a lot a long the way… Christmas is about to get even louder.”

She originally announced on her morning show: “Speaking of things that you didn’t know at home, we have a little something for all of you, we’ve been holding some good news.
A delighted Marius chipped in to say: “Very good news, yeah.” While Oti told the cheering audience: “We’re having a baby!”
Oti quit Strictly Come Dancing in February 2022, but continued to act as a judge on rival show Dancing on Ice. After seven years and two show wins, Oti said she also suffered “dark days” on the show.

She confessed during a podcast appearance: “My husband again has been an amazing person who has seen the dark days, the days where I’m in the shower crying with my clothes on because it’s so hard and it’s so overwhelming.
“He’s seen me not eat, he’s seen me overeat, he’s seen me struggle with not being able to get the best out of someone. He’s seen me having to deal with interesting personalities.”
