Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice was impressed by an activity his co-star Shirley Ballas is getting involved in.
The professional dancer responded to the news that Shirley is taking part in a charity skydive, and in the process he swooned over the head judge on the famous BBC series.

Shortly after Shirley shared the news of her skydive, Giovanni posted a video to his Instagram story with his arm around her as he said: “So that’s the message to this beautiful woman next to me, the best woman ever.
“She’s going to jump from [an] aeroplane, that’s insane.”

Shirley then explained what it would entail, adding she’ll be jumping from 15,000ft and would also be taking part in two other challenges.
The 62-year-old said she would be attached to the wings of a plane as it does aerobatics and as a zipline reaching speeds of 120mph.
An impressed Giovanni then told the judge: “That’s the reason I want to marry this woman.”

However, Giovanni did recognise that his dreams wouldn’t be possible due to Shirley’s relationship, but said he wished her the best, before they signed off the clip and kissed each other on the cheeks.
Shirley recently confirmed her skydive on social media, but in an additional video she has shown that she’s got the backing from her Strictly family.
The group filmed a good luck message for Shirley in their rehearsals and as the judge shared the clip, she wrote: “Lovely to be back with the @bbcstrictly family today.

“Get ready because the show is going to be more fabulous than ever before, I can feel it. A huge thank you to these beautiful humans for supporting me with my Skyathlon. Xxxx.”
She also thanked her followers for all the support they’ve shown through donations and sweet comments.
Shirley has since encouraged people to join her in taking part in the skydive, sharing exactly how to get involved on her Instagram.
