The Chase viewers have taken to social media to rant about a player’s announcement.
On Thursday’s episode (August 24), Bradley Walsh chatted to Jack, a 24-year-old membership support advisor from London.
Jack did his best to beat Chaser Anne Hegerty but was defeated during his one-on-one round.
However, during his chat with Bradley, he was quick to reveal he was a vegan – which seemed to irritate fans at home.
ITV viewers took to social media to share their thoughts, with one writing: “How do you know someone’s a vegan A) They Tell You. B) Coloured Hair. C) All of the Above #thechase”
A second added: “Jack had to let the world know he’s a vegan yet nobody asked. The chase #thechase”
While a third penned: “Nobody cares if you’re vegan!!! Why do they have to announce it?! #thechase”
“Oo oo vegan. Doesn’t like to mention it #thechase,” another posted.
A fifth put: “12 people in a room. Which one’s the vegan? Don’t worry, they’ll tell you. #thechase”

Though Jack didn’t make it through his round, another contestant did really well after taking £8,000 into her head-to-head with Anne.
Anne offered her a low offer of £2k, a mid offer of £8, and a high offer of £32k.
Her team believed she could do well and take home the high offer but player Sylvie was reluctant to do so and went with the middle option.

However, Chaser Anne made a cheeky dig and urged her to go high, but she stuck to her guns and took the £8k back to her team’s table.
ITV’s The Chase has been airing since 2009 and was the first country to air it in the world, it has since spread across the world on a global scale.
