The Wonder Years was an iconic 90s show loved by all and fans were sad to see it taken away from their screens.
It was an American coming-of-age sitcom starring Fred Savage as Kevin Arnold, a teen growing up in a suburban middle-class family in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The Wonder Years wrapped its sixth and final season in May 1993, with its axe partially blamed on conflict between producers and executives at ABC.

Daily Star has looked at what your favorite Wonder Years stars are up to now.
Fred Savage – Kevin Arnold
Fred Savage was quite literally the star of the show in The Wonder Years as the sitcom revolved around the life of his character Kevin Arnold.
Since his time on the show he married his childhood friend Jennifer Lynn Stone and the pair share three children.
The former child star also dabbled in directing and began a reboot of the Wonder Years but in May 6, 2022, Fred was fired as executive producer and director of it after an investigation into alleged inappropriate conduct.
Savage has denied the allegations, telling NBC News: “Since I was 6 years old, I have worked on hundreds of sets with thousands of people, and have always strived to contribute to an inclusive, safe and supportive work environment.
“It is devastating to learn that there are co-workers who feel I have fallen short of these goals.
“While there are some incidents being reported that absolutely did not and could not have happened, any one person who feels hurt or offended by my actions is one person too many.
“I will work to address and change any behavior that has negatively affected anyone, as nothing in this world is more important to me than being a supportive co-worker, friend, husband, father and person.
Danica McKellar – Winnie Cooper
Danica played Winnie Cooper in the iconic show.
The gorgeous actress continued working and landed roles on hit shows like How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory.
She also became a maths boffin as she earned a degree in mathematics in 1998.
Danica has written the books Math Doesn’t Suck, Kiss My Math, Hot X: Algebra Exposed, Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape, which encourage middle-school and high-school girls to succeed in mathematics.
The actress, who has one child from a previous marriage, tied the knot with her attorney Scott Sveslosky in 2014.
Josh Saviano – Paul Pfeiffer
Josh played Kevin Arnold’s best friend, Paul Pfeiffer in the show and hasn’t been on the screen much since.
He then went on and majored in political science at Yale University, before becoming a successful lawyer.
From 2014 to 2015 Josh returned to television to play a TV lawyer in three episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Jason Hervey – Wayne Arnold
Jason played Kevin’s older brother Wayne on the sitcom, but after the programme he decided to take a step away from the spotlight.
He has since provided his vocal talents to animated characters and even played Freddie’s brother again in Justice League Unlimited.
The star has moved behind the camera and has provided sports specials for shows like Outlaw COuntry and See Dad Run.
But he returned to acting 2021, starring in the Hallmark film, You, Me & the Christmas Trees.
Alley Mills – Norma Arnold
Alley was known for her role as Norma Arnold, the mother on the show and was a fan favourite.
She is now a soap star and portrays Heather Webber on ABC’s General Hospital.
Alley was married to author, film, television and stage actor Orson Bean from 1993 until his tragic death in 2020 in a car accident.
Orson was tragically hit by the drivers of two vehicles, with the second fatally hitting him.
Dan Lauria
Dan was known for playing the part of Jack Arnold the father on the show.
He served at the same point in his life that Jack Arnold, his character in The Wonder Years, did during the Korean War.
After the show he appeared on some off-broadway shows and served one year as a Department of Veterans Affairs celebrity hospital visitor, during which he toured many VA hospitals, meeting patients.
