Tipping Point viewers spot uncanny ‘jacked up’ X Factor doppelganger on ITV show

Tipping Point fans were distracted on Monday’s episode of the ITV show (August 14) after spotting a major X Factor doppleganger.

As viewers tuned in to watch four new players battle it out for cash prize on the coin machine, they were instantly drawn to Scottish hunk Nick, a postman from West Lothian, who drew an eerie comparison to music mogul Simon Cowell.

Sporting a similar look to the star including a dark head of hair and beard with simple tight t-shirt and trousers, everything from the star’s look to the way stood at the podium reminded fans of the star.

“Nick poundland simon Cowell? #TippingPoint,” asked one fan.

“I’m Nick a Simon Cowell tribute act…” joked a second.

But a third fan pointed out one major difference between the two, as Nick appeared to be much more muscular than the telly judge.

They said: “Nick looks like a jacked up simon cowell #tippingpoint.”

The comments received plenty of likes from fellow fans, with many others dubbing him “hot.”

After a series of lucky drops, Nick managed to beat off rival players Shabnam and Ali, to land a spot in the final against player Marco.

Unfortunately his look ran out and he was unable to cautch up with Marco’s impressive lead.

He was soon sent packing.

Spin-off version Lucky Stars had viewers ‘switching off’ last night (August 13th) as they complained about one contestant’s involvement who they claimed shouldn’t be on the show.

Labour MP Jess Phillips was one of three contestants on the celebrity alongside The Wanted band member Max George and Loose Women and Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson.

Introducing herself, Jess told viewers: “I’m Jess Phillips and I’m a Labour MP but today I won’t need any votes to get first past the post before these two and win by a healthy majority.”

Jess was the first to get an answer right and went straight for drop zone 3.

But some ITV1 viewers weren’t happy to see serving MP Jess on the show, and claimed that members of parliament shouldn’t be able to go on TV programmes as celebrities.

One said: “I just switched on ITV celebrity Tipping point, and Jess Phillips was on. Ugh, I switched straight over to Netflix”

A second penned: “Why the f*** is a serving MP on my telly on a TV quiz show? #tippingpoint”

Tipping Point airs weekdays on ITV at 4pm.
