Ulrika Jonsson has appeared to throw her hat in the ring to host the Love Island spin-off featuring older singles.
ITV recently confirmed it is making a dating show for single parents, saying it’s for the “older generation” and will see people looking for love “spending time in a luxury retreat together”.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Ulrika hinted that she would be a good pick to present the show, which will be called The Romance Retreat.

And if not, the mum-of-four, 55, wouldn’t mind being a contestant.
“If you’re hosting that programme, you should have a wealth of experience in modern day dating which is very different than them olden days where you see and meet people in the pub,” she told presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls.
“Yes, being single should be a pre-requisite.”
Ukrika – who has been married three times – went on: “Just because you’re over 50 doesn’t mean you’ve kind of given up on life and that you don’t want new adventures.
“I have a greater zest for life now more than I probably did in my 20s and 30s.”
Susanna said she thought the former Gladiators star would be a great host for the dating show, but quizzed her about whether she’d agree to be one of the singletons.
“Yeah, in for a penny in for a pound,” said the TV star.
“Why not? New experience!”
