Ant and Dec sparked concerns when they failed to appear on I’m A Celebrity spin-off show Unpacked.
The I’m A Celeb hosts normally pop up on every episode of the ITV spin-off hosted by Joel Dommett, where they discuss the latest jungle dramas. However, they were not in the studio during the episode on Tuesday (December 3) – just like Tulisa who also skipped the spin-off show.
Fans are used to seeing the Geordie duo appear minutes after the main show on ITV1, where Tulisa was the latest celeb to leave the jungle, but they were nowhere to be seen and it appears viewers weren’t warned about it. Dec had just announced the vote had closed and would not re-open, casting doubt over whether a celebrity would be booted from camp.

He teased a “massive surprise” on Wednesday night, but they didn’t reveal this on Unpacked and fans were left scratching their heads over where they’d gone. One fan on X wrote: “I need answers”.

Another said: “No Ant and Dec tonight, and no Tulisa… what’s going on?”. A third commented: “It’s a bit strange that Ant & Dec haven’t had their little chat with Joel like they normally do too.”
However, Ant and Dec have since revealed the reason they couldn’t appear on Unpacked. Before joking they’d fallen out with Joel, they said on their Instagram show Jungle Club: “We couldn’t do it because we’re going down to camp to do an announcement so we had to go and prepare for that.”

It comes after Tulisa has spoken out to explain why she’s kept a low profile after she deleted posts about the show and avoided the spin-off. Following her exit from the jungle, she appeared to suggest she thought some of her co-stars weren’t being genuine during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine.
Taking to Instagram with a lengthy post, the N-Dubz singer insisted she didn’t mean to suggest any of her campmates were being fake. She said: “I do not think any of my campmates are fake. I was having a conversation on Lorraine and what I was trying to say was, typical me just thinking out loud, is that everyone in there is gonna have one or two individuals we’re way more close with than others and that when we get out is when you’re really gonna see those friendships nurtured and the people that really become your friends for life.
