The ‘real’ Martha from Baby Reindeer has claimed Piers Morgan is a “dreadful” journalist who “smells” in her latest scathing attack.
Fiona Harvey, who believes she inspired the character, who is portrayed as a stalker in the Netflix show, has hit out at the former Good Morning Britain presenter, 59, one week after their gruelling interview.
In the 54-minute-long interview, which has been viewed more than 12million times at the time of reporting, she shared her thoughts on the seven-part series. The former lawyer shut down claims that she had emailed the comic more than 41,000 times and insisted that she had only met him five or six times in total.

Following the release of the interview on the presenters YouTube channel, she has taken to her Facebook page to share her thoughts on her first TV appearance. Fiona slammed the star for his treatment of her and insisted he was “smelly” during their sit-down chat.
She fumed: “Piers Morgan wears ill-fitting suits too and he smells. Right, I’ll try to sleep again. Folk would watch my interview with Piers just because of the Baby Reindeer obsession they have but in general, no one much watches his shows.
“He’s sixty or something. You’d think by now he’d have learned some manner, no not him. He’s looking dreadful with that white hair. He just couldn’t be civil off camera.
“He was just grunting not like a normal human being. I think he’s physically ill as well as being a mental case.” The lawyer also claimed that Piers had approached her to to take part in a “three-part documentary” following their interview.
Daily Star have reached out to Piers Morgan for a comment. Following their explosive interview, she told the Daily Record how she had been paid a “piddling £250”.
Fiona told the outlet: “I have not signed a contract for the interview, and I will be seeking far more than a piddling £250. I’d settle for a million.” But despite the backlash she received online from the grilling interview, Mrs Harvey has agreed to another high-profile interview.
This time, she has bagged a prestigious gig with James English on his Anything Goes podcast. Sharing a picture of Fiona on his Instagram account, James wrote: “Podcast with Baby Reindeer [redacted] coming soon.”
James’ YouTube channel, who has clips of his speaking to several controversial figures including Andrew Tate and David Icke, has 624,000 subscribers. Baby Reindeer, written by and starring Edinburgh Fringe star, Richard Gadd, topped streaming charts across the world just days after its release last month.
The jaw-dropping series tells a dramatised version of the writer’s experience of being stalked by a woman named Martha (played by Jessica Gunning) in the show.
