BBC Breakfast’s Sally Nugent told her co-host Jon Kay to “stop” after he suggested they should meet up outside of work.
The popular duo were back on the famous red sofa on Tuesday (May 28) covering a number of topics across the UK and around the world. During the show, Jon and Sally took a light-hearted approach by letting viewers know about what some people did during the Bank Holiday weekend.
They shared clips from a recent cheese rolling competition which took place in Gloucestershire. Jon and Sally also spoke about another extreme race where competitors ran to the finish line with a huge sack of wool. Clearly excited about both games, Jon asked Sally if they should join them.

Watching the video clip of those who took part in the race, Sally said: “That’s a lot of jumpers!” Jon then asked: “Shall we do that as well next year, as well as the cheese rolling?
But Sally wasn’t so keen. She said: “No! Stop suggesting all these things we might do! Someone might pay attention and make us do it!”
Laughing off Sally’s light-hearted scolding, Jon also got weather forecaster Carol Kirkwood involved in the chat. He said: “Carol could do it in her heels, morning!
But despite the enthusiasm, Carol, just like Sally wasn’t keen either. She replied: “Not in a million years!”
The news comes after fans were left worried due to presenter Naga Munchetty’s no-show. Naga usually hosts BBC Breakfast alongside Charlie Sayat from Thursday to Saturday.
But the star was recently “replaced” again for her Saturday slot. Instead, regular presenter Nina Warhurst, 43, stood in.
The BBC hasn’t issued an actual reason for Naga’s absence- and it is currently her second week off-screen, at the time of writing. Fans have shared their concerns over Naga on social media, with one writing: @TVNaga01 are you ok? We miss you from our TV screens in the morning.”
A second wrote: “Anyone seen Naga Munchetty? I think I’m actually missing her today.” Despite no mention of why Naga is missing, it could be down to a much deserved holiday.
