Big Brother UK viewers left ‘begging’ for change minutes into launch show

The much-anticipated relaunch of Big Brother UK on ITV2, helmed by the dynamic duo AJ Odudu and Will Best, has already ruffled some feathers just minutes into Sunday’s premiere.

As fans tuned in to witness the latest batch of 16 hopefuls moving into the iconic abode chasing the juicy £100,000 prize, Essex-born dental assistant Rosie, now residing in Cornwall, was the first to make her grand entrance.

While Rosie quickly became a viewer favourite, her incessant screaming during the opening moments saw Twitter erupt with pleas for silence.

Comments flooded in with one fed-up fan tweeting: “Can Rosie stop screaming #bbuk”, while another begged: “Please stop screaming, Rosie. I have a dog. #BBUK”. Others chimed in: “Why is she screaming #BBUK.”

The digital chatter continued with remarks like: “Rosie seems nice but the screaming is slightly over the top #BBUK.” and an optimistic soul hoped, “Honestly I think she’s just excited, which is to be expected I doubt she will be screaming like this into next week at least I hope #BBUK.”, reports the Mirror.

Rosie chirped about storming into the Big Brother fray, dishing out: “This is something I’ve always wanted to do and I know it’s so easy to say but it’s the best opportunity. I can’t tell you how grateful I am. I can’t even believe it’s happening! ” She gabbed on about her unique zest she’ll sprinkle in the house: “I’m hoping it’s going to be a little something different.”

Buzzing with vibes, Rosie assured: “I think I’m going to bring positive energy. I am a good listener and I can be there to support people – I’m a supportive person. I’m quite an enthusiastic person so if people are feeling a bit low, I can get them back on track.”

In a cheeky twist about getting the boot, Rosie confessed: “If people get to know me, I’m so calm and chill but I can come across quite chaotic. I think I’d probably be nominated for being the most annoying! “.

Meanwhile, on Sunday’s curtain-raiser, former Royal staffer Nathan, 24, waltzed into the spotlight. Prepping for his grand entrance, he spilled the beans: “I was Prince [King] Charles’ butler. I think that’s one thing that will definitely surprise people.”
