Held in the Matterley Bowl in Hampshire, this four day event is a top bucket list tick for any avid festival goer. The event’s incredible lineup with diverse acts across multiple days, spans many weird, wacky and wonderful genres which means there’s something for everyone no matter your taste – and maybe you’ll discover a love for something you’ve never even heard of.
Get lost in the twisty, windy layout and the many areas – known as districts – with their own individual themes. Don’t be afraid to let loose as Boomtown encourages fancy dress to get you into the full spirit.
Hundreds of actors are on hand to help further immerse visitors into the story, which you can follow along with using hints, clues, trinkets and bribes.
Boomtown’s official lineup doesn’t come out until a week or two before the event but based on past years, you certainly won’t be disappointed. Previous acts include Chase & Status, Cypress Hill, Sub Focus, Four Tet, De La Soul and Wu-Tang Clan.
Alongside those were other big name artists like Gorillaz, Limp Bizkit, Madness and Damian Marley, so if this sounds like your cup of tea make sure you get your hands on a Boomtown ticket for 2024 before they all sell out – check out your ticket options here.
