Britney Spears has been told to “pull your pants up” by Dance Moms alum Abby Lee Miller, who branded her slew of naked and semi-naked videos “cringe” in a cruel rant.
Toxic hitmaker Britney has been delighting fans with her dance videos on Instagram since she was freed from her conservatorship – even showcasing the incident in which she broke her foot on camera. But Abby isn’t impressed.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said while Britney used to “perform like J-Lo” with “athletic, real dancing”, her standards have slipped. She said: “Toxic, I mean, any of those songs, even in her video […Baby One More Time] the iconic schoolgirl outfit, coming down the hallway with the lockers. She was dancing and she could dance.

“She was away from her dance teacher too long. That’s number one… dance is a constantly evolving art form, so you have to continually stay with the trends,” Abby said.

She then told Britney to “pull her pants up”, explaining: “The lower your pants are, the longer your body looks and the shorter your legs look. You want to be head and neck and legs. So, she keeps pushing her pants down, making her body look longer and her legs shorter. And I’m like, ‘Pull your pants up and make your legs look longer.’”
Abby “cringes and yells” at Britney, and confessed “the world of Britney comes after me like I’m psycho” – but she isn’t letting up in her criticism. She told her to “close her ribcage” back in March 2021, and was slammed for being “rude as hell”.
One Britney fan fumed: “Really?? Just let her dance it out!” as somebody else agreed: “How about mind your own business, realise that Britney is more successful than you, and that she has people rallying behind her.”

But Brit isn’t the only A-lister Abby has hit out at – as she branded Taylor Swift “pigeon-toed” on the Leave It on the Dance Floor podcast. She said Taylor spent too much time “slumped over that guitar” than dancing – something that helped her quickly rise to the top of the charts.
12-time Grammy winner Swift was recently named Time’s Person of the Year, but that didn’t stop Abby’s rant. She said: “I think she does probably think she should have danced as a kid. Her boyfriend [Travis Kelce] is a much better dancer. Let’s leave it at that.”

Swifties were, understandably, fuming, with one writing: “Whether or not she took dance classes as a child is something that only she would know for sure. However, her ability to perform and connect with her audience through music is undeniable. Ultimately, whether or not she dances ‘perfectly’ is less important than the passion and energy she brings to her performances.”
Someone else said: “Remember Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller? The one who went to prison? She also had some critiques about Taylor Swift.”
