Celebrity Big Brother star David Potts definitely made quite the entrance when he waltzed inside the famous TV house earlier this week.
The beloved TV personality, 30, is best known for his stint on Ibiza Weekender and his signature fashion sense with dramatic sequin blazers and minuscule hot pants. But it appears as though the hunk has been keeping a huge part of his life a secret from his loyal legion of fans.
What many viewers may not know is that the reality star has a twin brother who couldn’t be more opposite to him if he tried. Matthew Potts, also 30, works as a professional footballer regularly wowing viewers with his incredible sporting skills on the pitch.

Since his brother short to fame, the sportsman has often found himself needing to provide “evidence” to confirm David is his brother. But that hasn’t stopped Matthew being full of pride as his brother has gone from strength to strength as a TV personality.
In an interview with MailOnline, he said: “We have gone down two totally different paths. It’s a thing for people when they find out who he is…
“I don’t go around shouting about it but when people do find out they are quite shocked, and I always have to provide evidence we’re related because they don’t believe me, which is quite funny.
“We got put in the same outfits and as twins you get put in the same bubble, but the reality is – and as we have proven – we’re just totally completely different people. He’s loud when you first lay eyes on him and the celebrities in the house were quite taken aback by him at first.
“But now, they are getting to know him, well within five minutes your perceptions of him change completely. It’s a credit to him, he’s great in that sense.”
IT’s fair to say the family are filled with pride over David’s TV success after he was bullied at school before he bravely came out as gay. David and Matthew also have an older brother.
Until the reality TV star spoke out about his sexuality to the press, he was not able to truly be himself both on and offscreen. Since then, Matthew explained that David has taught him a lot about the LGBTQ community.
At the height of the star’s horrific bullying ordeal, Matthew candidly said he too found it difficult to deal with because he couldn’t understand why David was being targeted at school. And at times he often thought ‘What’s wrong with him? And there was nothing wrong… nowadays we are in a society that’s a lot more open and accepting.”
After his brother entered into the famous house, he has since predicted that his twin will be overwhelmed at being in the same house as TV legends Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh. X Factor was a popular show in the Potts household when he was growing up.
He then told the publication that it would “mean the world to him” if he was crowned the new winner of Celebrity Big Brother. He explained that his brother stands every chance at being crowned winner as he had the ability to “resonate” with the public.
