Chance Perdomo shared haunting post about bike days before fatal motorcycle crash

Chance Perdomo shared a social media post about his motorbike just days before he tragically died in a crash.

The 27-year old The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actor was involved in what appeared to be a single-vehicle collision on Saturday (March 30). Just a week before the accident he had shared a snap of his black motorbike on social media.

In his final Instagram post, Chance shared snaps including one of him relaxing on a sofa wearing a cosy cream jumper and a jeans jacket, a second from the gym, and a third of his beloved bike with its fancy brown leather trim. He eerily wrote: “Day 77. Final calm before the storm. #backontheroad.”

The statement continued: “His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

Chance also starred as Andre Anderson in Amazon Prime Video’s Gen V alongside Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips and London Thor. The producer of the show has also spoken out after hearing about his sad passing, which has delayed the second season of the show.

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this,” they wrote. “For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense.

“We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”

A spokesperson for Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television added: “The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance’s family and all who loved him at this difficult time.”

Chance was best known for his roles in Gen V and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Chance, who was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Southampton, England, starred as Ambrose Spellman in Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s Netflix series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, alongside Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch and Michelle Gomez.

He also played Landon Gibson in the popular ‘After’ film series, adapted from Anna Todd’s best-selling books, alongside Hero Fiennes Tiffin’s Hardin Scott and Josephine Langford’s Tessa Young. Chance initially wanted to study law after finishing school, but he chose to pursue acting instead. He began his career on stage and screen at The National Youth Theatre in London.
