Corrie fans are certain that they’ve cracked the code on what Sam Blakeman is hiding from his dad, Nick Tilsley.
It appears Rowan Cunliffe might have bagged himself another victim role in the twisted cult plot. After getting Leanne Battersby wrapped around his finger, has he now got Toyah Battersby in his sights?
While Toyah and Nick are tangled up in a blackmail mess, Nick’s wife Leanne is helping her stepson Sam with a mysterious task that they’ve kept Nick in the dark about.

Tongues started wagging about the secret on-goings, when Sam turned up Leanne and Nick’s home while she was out. He immediately began to quiz Nick over Leanne’s whereabouts.
Nick noticed that Sam seemed eager to chat with her. It was at this point that Nick could smell something fishy as he began to pry about what she’d been helping with.
Sam remained that it was just “something” and insisted “She won’t” forget. Soon Leanne breezed in and Sam hit her with a “You ready?”
Suspicious Nick, wanted to know what was going on but Leanne just brushed off his comments. She told him she was helping with “just something for Hope.”
Nick couldn’t help but wonder why the pair were being so secretive all of sudden. But it wasn’t just Nick, who was left scratching his head, viewers at home think something big is going on.
Some fans even threatened to turn off after becoming spooked by what Sam and Leanne could be concealing, especially if it’s tied to Rowan’s dodgy dealings. It was only a few weeks ago that we witnessed Leanne speak to an AI recreation of her tragically deceased son Oliver, who passed away back in 2020.
This grim unfolding left viewers shell-shocked, the combination of recent events has led fans to believe that Leanne and Rowan may now be setting their sights on Sam. Murder claimed the life of Sam’s mum, Natasha Blakeman, in 2021, sparking theories among fans that Leanne, with aid from Rowan, might be offering Sam some form of consolation through a digitised replica of his mother.
One viewer took to social media, exclaiming: “Don’t say that Sam’s got an A.I mummy on his computer.” The speculation snowballed as another show enthusiast pondered: “Have they created an AI Natasha? ” whilst a third warned: “Oh no she’s going to AI Natasha.”
Taking it a step further, another commentator advised: “If I see an AI video of Natasha on Sam’s computer screen, I’m unplugging my telly right away! “.
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
