Police have yet to release any details regarding a potential suspect or vehicle description. No additional details have been released as of yet, but a police presence remains and a section of the street has been cordoned off.

This incident occurs amidst an ongoing public feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. No connection has been established between the feud and the police incident.

Kendrick dropped his new track Not Like Us in the early hours of Sunday morning, marking his third diss track against Drake in 36 hours. In the new song, the Pray For Me singer makes several references to Drake’s alleged interactions with younger women.

In his rap song, he dropped a line: “Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young,” before he sensationally added that Drake would have a tough time in prison due to his speculated preferences. Kendrick then issued a public warning, suggesting people should “make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him.”

His tune’s artwork for Not Like Us also indirectly poked at Drake by exhibiting an aerial view of his luxurious abode as if it were shown on a sex-offender map. The animosity between the two rappers started when Kendrick took a dig at Drake and J Cole in his track First Person Shooter.

While J Cole chose to pull out from the diss track altercation, claims Kendrick on domestic violence cropped up when Drake did not resist but further aggravated the tension with his song Family Matters.
