Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are reporting trying to settle their divorce quickly.
Eamonn, 65, and Ruth, 64, were together for 27 years and married for 14 years before they announced their divorce in May. The GB News presenter is now dating counsellor Katie Alexander, 43, and and reportedly told pals he wants them to tie the knot.
It’s now believed the pair are trying to finalise their divorce as quickly as possible” in the New Year. It’s also reported Ruth wants to hold onto their £3.5m Surrey mansion, where they lived before Eamonn moved out of.
A source told The Sun: “The aim is for Eamonn and Ruth to resolve their divorce as quickly as possible in the New Year. Ruth is keen to stay in their marital home as it is where she is settled, Eamonn on the other hand wants to get out and make a fresh start.

She was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger. She was not wearing the ring at a Christmas carol concert earlier this month.
A source told The Sun: “Eamonn has been talking openly about his plans to marry Katie and has made it clear he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. They’re already living together and he knows it feels right.
“They have a very strong connection and get on very well. She has given him a real lust for life and she looks after him.”
Eamonn, who has been troubled with back problems for a while, was in a mobility scooter in the French capital. An onlooker said: “Eamonn and his girlfriend looked very loved-up. She was fussing over him and he had a big smile on his face.”
Ruth has reportedly hired £400-an-hour lawyer Catherine Costley to help with the divorce from Eamonn. Costley worked under Baroness Fiona Shackleton, who famously represented Charles in his split from Diana in 1996.
