Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ explosive Christmas storyline as character ‘returns’

Emmerdale fans are speculating about a potential Christmas plot twist, months before the festive episode airs.

Rose Jackson’s sudden disappearance from the soap has left viewers in suspense, with her fate and location still unknown. However, some fans believe they have figured out whether she is alive and if she will return.

One theory suggests that Rose could be gearing up for a dramatic Christmas face-off with Kim Tate and Will Taylor, who attempted to get rid of her before she disappeared. The soap has yet to reveal what exactly happened to Rose and who was involved, although there are hints pointing towards someone driving a specific vehicle.

Before her disappearance, Rose was outed by Kim and Will for conspiring with Ruby Miligan to bring down Kim. Unbeknownst to Kim, Will had slept with Rose, despite her suspicions that the pair had been intimate.

Kim and Will abandoned Rose in a remote location, leaving her with some money before driving away. Later, an unidentified person drove up to her, but it was not shown who it was or what transpired afterwards, reports the Mirror.

Rose’s handbag and personal items were found scattered on the ground, but she was nowhere to be found. Amid theories that she may have been murdered, fans are now theorising that she could still be alive and planning a shocking return to expose Will’s infidelity.

Fans on social media are getting hyped about a viewer’s theory that’s gaining traction they reckon she’s gonna play the long game and bring the drama come December 25. One fan said: “I bet she crawls out of the woodwork around Christmas, just in time to mess Christmas up for Kim.”

Does this mean Emmerdale’s gearing up for yet another festive day filled with fire, bombshells and mayhem like we’ve seen before?

With the village buzzing over who could have done a number on Rose, everyone’s pointing fingers at Will and Kim. The punters are having none of it they think Ruby’s the real culprit, but theres chatter about a dodgy drug dealer being the mastermind behind it all.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
