Emmerdale youngster Angelica King gets arrested next week following the shock death of Heath Hope.
After the emotional funeral of the young lad, Angelica confessed to her mum Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) it was her who was driving the car which resulted in the fatal crash, and not his twin sister Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling).
Cathy has been blamed for causing killing her brother by her dad Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) but she insisted that Angelica was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. After weeks of lying, Angelica finally came clean to mum about what really happened on the eventful night.

In upcoming scenes, Nicola urges Jimmy to discuss what’s next for them. With the funeral over, the Hope family’s focus shifts to the police investigation. Cathy lashes out when Bob suggests waiting for the forensic results. Jimmy King (Nick Miles), despite now knowing the truth, continues to blame Cathy for the crash and makes the decision not to confess to his daughter Angel driving.
Nicola is uneasy when Jimmy tells Angel to lie to the police and they try to act normally, but Jimmy is guilt-ridden to witness Bob’s suffering. Angel overhears her parents talking about Bob’s struggles and wanting to end all the lies, runs and publicly confesses in the B&B to Liam Cavaangh (Jonny McPherson), Brenda, Cathy and April.
Soon at the police station, Angel officially confesses to having been the driver and is terrified when she is arrested for causing death by dangerous driving. The ITV soap was full of heartbreak on New Year’s Day as teenager Heath died after joyriding in a car with his twin sister Cathy and Angelica.
The teenagers had been desperate to go to a New Year’s Eve party out of the village but couldn’t get a lift and their dad Bob refused to pay for a taxi. The trio were left bored at the B&B’s party so decided to take matters into their own hands, stealing Wendy Posner’s car to joyride to the party.
Cathy was seen driving the car as she took the backroads so they wouldn’t be caught but Heath and Angelica complained it was taking too long, encouraging Cathy to speed up. At the same time, Wendy noticed her car was missing and April Windsor, who refused to get in the car with her friends, told concerned Bob what had happened.

Wendy and Bob then went out in search of the teenagers, where their worst fears had come true. The duo found Wendy’s car crashed at the side of the road with a bloodied Cathy and Angelica on the side. Realising Heath was missing they ran to the car to find him trapped and after freeing him, Wendy attempted CPR to no avail as later in the hospital it was revealed that Heath had tragically died with Angelica responsible for his death.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm
