GK Barry nearly suffers red carpet wardrobe malfunction as she says they’re ‘coming off’

GK Barry has taken to the red carpet this evening (October 21) at The Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards and revealed she was potentially facing a wardrobe crisis.

Loose Women star was on hosting duties on the red carpet when she confessed to having a little trouble with some tape.

Our reporter on the scene Carly Hacon filmed the moment the star was trying to stay positive ahead of a potential disaster.

On the footage filmed by the Daily Star, GK Barry can be heard saying: “My sticky t**s are coming off. We will cross that bridge when they come off.”

GK Barry also had a wardrobe change as she was later seen wearing a black sequinned gown with details of silver.

The Daily Star recently sat down with GK Barry about her role at the Pride of Britain Awards and her experience at the same event last year.

Last year was the TikTok sensation’s first time at the event and she was not prepared for how emotional the night would be.

Talking about the event, she exclusively said: “Well, no one really warned me about it last year, so I went in a few wines deep, almost hysterically crying on my table next to Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud.

“But I’ve got a plan as to what I’m going to do this year because I was on the judging panel, and I helped pick some of the winners, I know what to expect, so I’m gonna just slowly ease into the wine instead this year.”

It is the 25th Anniversary celebrations of the awards this evening at Podcast star and Pride of Britain judge GK Barry raised the shutters at GK’s bar, London’s most exclusive destination, right on the red carpet.

The awards’ newest landlady will be shooting the breeze with stars and winners over a cocktail or a mocktail on tonight.

This year’s event will be once again hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo, who have fronted the awards ceremony together since 2021.
