Holly Willoughby got her own back on presenters Ant and Dec as she pranked them on their hit show, Saturday Night Takeaway.
Presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly confirmed that their variety show – where audience members can win prizes from adverts – will come to an end this weekend. The show which was launched in 2002 is now on its 20th series.
But with things coming to a close, Ant and Dec got a taste of their own medicine when celebrities got a chance to play a prank on them. In upcoming scenes, Holly alongside presenter Rylan Clarke embarrassed the Geordie duo as they told them instructions through an earpiece.

Ant and Dec have been performing this act on celebs for years but in the video clip which was uploaded to Holly’s Instagram things took a hilarious turn. While the pair was at a restaurant, Holly and Rylan could be seen talking into Ant and Dec’s ears from a secret room.
Holly tells Dec: “Now you see that waiter, just go and say to them, erm ‘where can I find the toilets? Because I need a poo poo!”
She then added: “Lots of straining noises. ‘I need to go now!'”
Dec could then be seen repeating Holly’s words to the waiter in the hilarious scene. In the clip, celebs Oti Mabuse and Olly Murs also got their chance to prank Ant and Dec.
Seeing the funny video, fans shared their thoughts. One social media user said: “This is Hilarious my darling a Great Job Well Done!”
Another penned: “Can’t wait …. How did you not just fall about laughing.” And a third shared: “Can’t wait for this!”
On Friday’s episode of This Morning (April 12), Ant and Dec appeared on the show to discuss the last instalment of the programme. They also shared a clip of the hilarious restaurant scene on the show, with Ant saying that staff was unaware of what was going on and said: “Nobody knew, nobody knew!”
In 2023 Ant and Dec, both 48, announced they’d quit Saturday Night Takeaway ahead of the 20th series. But they will continue their exclusive working relationship with ITV, hosting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Britain’s Got Talent and Limitless Win.
Ant said at the time: “We love making Saturday Night Takeaway, but reaching the milestone of 20 series seemed like the perfect time to pause for a little while and catch our breath.” Dec added: “We still have a momentous 20th series to look forward to first so we will do our best to go out (for now) with a bang in 2024!”
