From A-list actresses to chart-topping musicians, a large number of the Hollywood elite have turned to weight loss drugs to help them drop a dress size – despite the risks
Ozempic has been making headlines recently after a number of A-listers dropped a serious amount of weight, seemingly out of nowhere.
Hollywood stars such as Rebel Wilson, Amy Schumer, Boy George and even Tesla entrepreneur Elon Musk have confessed to using the drug. Ozempic, which is used to help adults with type 2 diabetes, took the world by storm after a number of celebrities began to use the medication to help shift some weight.
Some of them are loud and proud about their use of the “wonder drug” while others complained that they had to give it up because of the extreme side effects – one star didn’t even realise she was using Ozempic at all.

Despite the dangers for people who aren’t prescribed it – including kidney failure, changes to vision, severe reactions and gallbladder problems – some high-profile Tinseltown players still take the risk.
