I’m A Celeb star Yvette Fielding has shared her best advice for the 2024 campmates – and it involves underwear.
The Most Haunted presenter entered the ITV jungle back in 2015 and caught viewers attention when she decided to put her knickers on her head during BushTucker Trials.
She still backs the notion that it was the best thing to do advises Coleen Rooney, Tulisa and GK Barry to all do the same thing. Yvette told us: “I know you think you’ll look stupid but when you’ve got cockroaches crawling in your ear. You’ll you’ll be grateful.

“They’ve got to be big knickers. I do understand that a lot of women will go, ‘Oh no, I’ll look weird.’ But who gives who gives a hoot?
“Just stick them on your head because otherwise you could get something going in your ear and you going to want to get it out. But make sure that you get some black knickers, because it’ll just look like a nice shiny cap.”
Yvette also revealed that Geordie host Ant McPartlin was “too scared” to take her up on a TV opportunity. She once offered both Ant and Dec [Donnelly] a chance to go on her spooky show.
The TV star shared: “I’ve asked them but I asked them years ago. Declan was really up for it, but Ant was like ‘Oh, no, I think he was a bit scared of it. I can’t really remember, but I love taking celebrities that are a little bit sceptical, sullied and cynical, on a ghost hunt and watching the whole character change because what they’re seeing, they’re like, ‘What the hell’s going on?’
“I’ve done so many of them, but every group that I’ve ever worked someone always goes ‘Oh, there’s somebody obviously banging on the door next door’. I said, ‘Well, go on, then go and have a look’. And they go and have a look, and there’s nothing there.”
Yvette has also been working with Ring who’s research reveals that 40% of Brits believe in paranormal activity and two-thirds (68%) that witnessed paranormal activity have experienced it more than twice. Ring asked customers to send in any possible paranormal videos they had from their own at home devices.
Commenting on this, she said: “The light anomalies caught on the Ring device are interesting. The fact that there is only one on its own in each video makes this footage fascinating as it could be the first stage of a ghost manifestation and worthy of further investigation.
“It can be quite daunting hearing an unexpected voice at your door, even more so when there’s nobody there. Hearing disembodied voices is a sign of a potential haunting within or around the home, so there could very well be something paranormal occurring here.”
I’m A Celebrity airs every day at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
