I’m A Celeb’s ‘real winner’ exposed as Coleen ‘set to earn millions’ after show

Coleen Rooney is set to rake in millions thanks to her stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

The 38-year-old TV star and WAG finished runner-up on the ITV hit this weekend, with McFly’s Danny Jones crowned King of the Jungle. However, it seems she’s still very much a winner as she’s been flooded with offers for TV deals and other opportunities.

Coleen became an instant hit with the public during her weeks Down Under, with fans blown away by the impressive detective skills she employed to work out when her co-stars Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles were lying. Fans could see why she was dubbed “Wagatha Christie” before her successful libel case against Rebekah Vardy.

And now, it’s predicted Coleen could earn “Premier League footballer level” wages like her footy star husband Wayne. Daily Star spoke to Andy Barr, Celeb PR and Reputation expert, Season One Communications about Coleen’s next move after the jungle.

He says Coleen will be inundated with offers for TV deals, but he reckons the real money will come from “big brand endorsements”. He said: “Coleen is now going to go on and earn Premier League footballer level wages thanks to her Jungle appearance.

“The financial offers coming her way for TV deals is likely to be dwarfed by the potential millions of pounds she could earn through big brand endorsements. She has reinforced her position as a person of the people whose popularity spans all ages and demographics.

The star will have tons of offers from retailers wanting her to create her own product ranges that will only increase her profits. The PR expert continued: “Big FMCG brands will want a piece of her popularity through her taking part in straight forward advertisements.

“On top of this she can expect to command a strong up front fee of no less a million pounds from companies who want her to come up with her own product range, with earnings on top for every item sold. Reality TV history is littered with stories of runners up going on to be the real earning-winners and Colleen will only add to this pathway.”

It comes after it was reported Coleen is poised to sign a £1million TV deal. A source told The Sun: “She is poised to sign a huge new TV deal, worth around £1million.”

A source told the outlet: “Coleen’s return to public life following the Wagatha Christie trial was carefully orchestrated — and it has more than paid off. When she was in the jungle, she was being touted as ITV’s next Holly Willoughby and the offers have already started flooding in.
