Coronation Street fans have spotted a “dark” link between characters Bethany Platt and Daisy Midgeley.
Viewers have claimed to have spotted a sinister link after Daisy had been trying to get back in the good books with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard). This comes after he ended their relationship after it came out she had slept with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).
Bethany had been probing Daniel’s relationship with Daisy and gave the rundown of the events that unfolded with Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still). However, Bethany’s attitude seemed to change which made some viewers go wild with conspiracy theories.

Daniel asked her: “Stay over tonight?” to which she replied: “Oh, I can’t my mum is expecting me! I will stand you a few birthday drinks though. Rovers?”
He then suggested: “I fancy somewhere a bit further afield,” but Bethany responded: “You’re being shifty, might this have something to do with Daisy? So basically yes, what happened between you two?”
Daniel explained: “The geek, meaning me, got the girl, she bonded with Bertie Wooster, really looking forward to being his stepmum. I popped the question and she said yes and everything was perfect except that Daisy was being stalked by some random nutso.

“Police, the works, and then on the day of the wedding when he realised she was going to marry her actual fiance, he showed up at the Rovers to throw acid in her face.”
Looking worried Bethany quizzed: “And hit Ryan? So much history between you…” Daniel then confessed: “It gets worse, Daisy and Ryan then ended up in bed together, she cheated on me!
“The whole thing was just horrendous. Those are the edited highlights of events can we leave it there.” Fans of the show took to X to share their thoughts on the show and theorised that Bethany could still be in contact with Justin.

One wrote: “What if Bethany is with Justin, and that’s why she’s probing Daniel about what happened with Daisy? #Corrie.” A second added: “What’s Bethany up to with her secret phone calls #Corrie.”
While a third penned: “Could Bethany be in contact with Justin? Is that the reason she pounced on Daniel so hard when she came back?”
