Love Island star Anton Danyluk has revealed that he has continued with a rather awkward tradition with his mum as he heads into the All Stars villa.
Anton, 29, first shot to fame when he appeared on the fifth series of the hit ITV dating show back in 2019. Then aged 24, Danyluk endeared himself to the nation and to the other Islanders as a happily unlucky contestant.
Things changed for him, however, when he was eventually coupled up with Belle Hassan. With the two hitting it off, the pair just missed out on reaching the final, having received the fewest votes and were thus, dumped from the villa.

Now, Anton is set to return to the Island as he takes part in the All Stars series of the dating show titan. However, he will not be alone in the villa, as he will be joined by other previous contestants including Jake Cornish, Chris Taylor and Georgia Harrison.
After he was announced to be taking part for a second time, ITV released an interview with the cheeky Scotsman, where he made the startling announcement. He admitted that his mum continues to still shave him bum for him, five years after the extraordinary revelation.
He explained: “I am famously known for my mum shaving my bum and just for the record, she still does.” Clearly embarrassed at his revelation, Anton burst into laughter as he tried to save face.
Speaking about his time after the show, Anton added that while he had thought he had found love, it had turned out to be more of a friendship-style relationship. But he added he was ecstatic to go into the villa for a second time, quipping: “How lucky are we?”
Danyluk also said that he believed “having everything but no one to share it with is the ultimate failure” for him. He insisted that he was looking to “settle down” and “find the right person” that he may potentially find in the villa for the second time.
Anton is one of 12 lucky ex-Islanders having a second shot at love as they enter the villa next Monday (January 15). The show will be broadcast on both ITV1 and ITV2 for the first time in the show’s history.
Bosses at the show were keen to find former Islanders that were genuinely looking for love for the All Stars series of the show. However, there was tension between producers and contestants in the run-up to the show kicking off, as many of the cast demanded a 433% pay rise from ITV, which was not delivered by the station who believed their appearance fee was sufficiently high.
Love Island kicks off on Monday, January 15 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.
