Kate Middleton has a very unexpected celebrity lookalike.
Since her days as an undergraduate at the University of St. Andrews, where she first fell for Prince William, Kate Middleton has become one of the most recognisable faces in Britain. Upon marrying William in 2011, Kate officially became a member of the Royal Family, and the global interest in her skyrocketed.
Given her high profile, comparisons are often drawn between Kate and other public figures. However, there’s one lesser-known celebrity lookalike that Royal fans have pointed out, and it’s not the actress who portrayed her in The Crown.

According to Hello magazine, Royal fans noticed the resemblance a few years back when comedian Keith Lemon shared a photo of his wife Jill Carter, a beauty therapist he’s been married to for over two decades now.

TV star Leigh Francis, better known as Keith Lemon, shared a Valentine’s Day tribute to his wife Jill in 2019, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the Duchess of Cambridge. The snap shows Jill looking down, her brunette curls – strikingly similar to Kate’s – framing her face, reports the Mirror.

“Appy Valentine’s Day beautiful lady,” he cheekily captioned the post. “I would finish with my super hot French girlfriend for a bit of hang time with you. Whoever you are. DM me! I’m Keith Lemon from the telly x.”

Royal fans were quick to spot the similarity between Jill and Kate, with one commenting: “Prince William might be jealous,” and another saying: “I thought it was Kate Middleton.”
The Celebrity Juice host tied the knot with Jill in 2002 at Allerton Castle, North Yorkshire, and they have two daughters, Matilda and Dolly. Despite his public persona as Keith Lemon, he keeps his personal life with Jill private. However, it is reported that the couple have been together since their teenage years.
