Katie Price appears to be going through a patch of bad luck as she announced that her gate had been “stolen”.
The 45-year-old recently hit headlines after reports claimed her famous Mucky Mansion could be “unsellable” due to its squalid state. But Katie seems to have now become a victim of theft as she claims her gate from her grounds was taken.
Heading over to her Instagram stories, the former glamour model shared a snap of her outdoor gate with another part of it missing. Captioning the photo, she wrote: “Seems I have a scumbag who has stolen my gate in my fields.”

But Katie didn’t allow the incident to dampen her spirits. She later jumped back onto her platform to share that she was out having some food with her children at Bill’s Restaurant.
In March, the mother of five declared bankruptcy for a second time. Katie’s financial woes came due to an unpaid tax bill. Due to this, her four-bedroom country estate is set to be repossessed, reports claim.
Under the terms of Katie’s bankruptcy, it would take “exceptional circumstances” for her to keep hold of her large mansion, which is located in the village of Dial Post, Horsham, West Sussex. The huge property has been under repair for quite some time having been burgled and flooded. In addition to this, it has also fallen victim to an overflowing septic tank.
Most recently, Katie’s ex-fiance Carl Woods had been using the garden as a vehicle forecourt for his used car selling business. However, due to their split, the cars are no longer being sold from there.
For those who are interested in purchasing Katie’s property in the future would also need to check that planning rules have been adhered to when it comes to her “home improvements”. In October 2014 the TV star paid £1.35M for the property.
Experts now claim that if it was in a fit state, then property prices in her upmarket area suggest she could sell the house for double what she paid. However, at best, it could be worth £1.5M.
Property expert David Votta told The Sun: “It could be unsellable because who is the target audience? Someone who is proud to say, ‘I lived in Katie Price‘s house?'”
