Kerry Katona revealed that she was left “crying” in “non-stop pain” after she went under the knife for her latest bout of cosmetic surgery last week.
Loyal fans of the former Atomic Kitten star, 43, will know how she underwent a blepharoplasty in the heart of Cheshire. The procedure removes excess skin from the eyelids and gives a lifted affect.
But in her recent column with new magazine, the mum-of-five revealed that the recovery process was a lot harder than she expected. The signer confessed that she accidentally “scratched her cornea” while she was still healing from the surgery.

She detailed how she had been left bruised and swollen days after the big operation, but insisted that she is “over the moon” with the results. The TV personality fumed: “I’ve been crying all day because of the pain.

“When I was coming out of recovery I didn’t know what I was doing and rubbed my eye and scratched the cornea. I’ve scratched in on all the nerve endings which my doctor said is almost more painful than childbirth.
“I’ve been complaining so much but it’s completely my fault and not to do with the surgery,” she added. Kerry decided to get the operation after pal Katie Price, who had also had the same procedure, “gave her loads of advice”.
She continued: “I’ve wanted to do it for a while because my eyes were starting to feel heavy and I could feel the skin hooding over, which I didn’t like. I’ve not changed my face, I’ve just tweaked it and got rid of the extra skin that was hanging down.”

It’s fair to say, the TV personality is no stranger to going under the knife and previously had a tummy tuck back in 2021. She followed up the operation with another op on her stomach back in 2023, alongside multiple boob jobs and reductions.
However, Kerry – who is the mother to Molly, 22, Lilly, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 15, and DJ, nine – admitted that her children were not thrilled about her new eye procedure. She shared the news about her new cosmetic tweakment with her kids when her older children FaceTimed her in hospital.
The star claimed it “freaked” them out and hasn’t shown her youngest DJ the results because it will “scare her”. Kerry had the tweakment at Merseyside’s Pall Mall Medical Centre after previously claiming her eyes felt “heavy”.

Once she went under general anaesthetic, Kerry’s eyebrows were sliced open and then pinned back to lift her eyes upwards. Then, her eyelid was cut open, raised and pulled back in order to achieve a more youthful look.
According to Pall Mall, patients often take two weeks off work to recover from the procedure and won’t be able to drive for several days until the swelling goes down. It comes after the blonde bombshell shared her plans to have another surgery, this time to fix her nose due to damage after her past drug use.
Taking to Instagram back in November, she told her adoring followers that she had visited doctors to ask whether she would consider getting the treatment. It was at this point that she opened up about the internal damage from her past drug use which caused her nose to collapse.
