Michelle Visage is reportedly set to fill in for Lorraine Kelly on her ITV talk show.
TV favourite Lorraine is often covered by the likes of Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh when she’s on leave from her weekday show. But according to the Mirror, Drag Race star Michelle is being lined up for a guest hosting slot.
It seems the US star, 55, will present the programme in the summer when Lorraine is off. And an insider said ITV bosses reckon she will be a “huge hit” with viewers.

“ITV has lined up Michelle Visage as a part-time host for its morning chat show Lorraine,” the source said. “She will be hosting the show during a one-off summertime special. She joins the show in a bid to keep it interesting over the summer months.

“Michelle is thrilled to have been given this opportunity. She’s a natural presenter and a huge fan of the show so it’s a perfect fit.”
The Drag Race star is no stranger to TV, having presented red carpet coverage and been a fixture on programmes like The RuPaul Show. She has also done the odd stint on reality TV and in 2019 was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, where she was the eighth celeb to be eliminated.

Lorraine could be needing some more time off in the future, after she revealed she was set be a grandmother. The TV star’s daughter Rosie is expecting her first baby and Lorraine has made it clear that she can’t wait for the new member of their family.
Rosie, 29, shared her lovely news on Instagram, uploading a snap of her blossoming baby bump as she said: “We could not be more excited – you’re already so loved little one.”

Lorraine – who shares Rosie with her hubby Steve Smith – then shared a picture of an ultrasound image on her own Instagram account. “THE most exciting thing to have ever happened in our family!” she gushed.
“Cannot wait to be a granny and so proud of Rosie and her Steve,” she added. “It’s the best news EVER!”
