Joey Essex could face potential prosecution as his firm reportedly hasn’t filed accounts for four years.
The Love Island star’s company Joey Essex Management, which names Joey as the sole director and overall controller, last provided documents up to June 2018, according to reports.
According Companies House records, its accounts are significantly overdue. The 2019 accounts should have been posted by March 2020, meaning they’re over four years late.

The Sun report that the accounts for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 have not been filed either but the publication say Joey’s accountants are confident everything is in order.
The Gov.uk site states: “Not filing your confirmation statements, annual returns or accounts is a criminal offence – and directors or LLP designated members could be personally fined in the criminal courts. Failing to pay your late filing penalty can result in enforcement proceedings.
“Any criminal proceedings for not filing confirmation statements, annual returns or accounts is separate from (and in addition to) any late filing penalties issued by Companies House against the company.” Daily Star has reached out to Joey’s representative for a comment.
It comes after Joey’s former fling Grace Jackson entered the villa as bombshell in recent scenes of the ITV2 dating show. The blonde beauty waltzed into the villa in Majorca alongside Wil Anderson and Tiffany Leighton at the end of Thursday night’s episode (June 13).
Joey is currently coupled up wit Samantha Kenny and their relationship seemed to be going from strength to strength as they got closer to each other.
However, things may start getting frosty for Samantha too, as Joey admitted in a secret chat with the boys that he was “neutral” about his current coupling – could his head be turned by his former flame?
Love Island airs every Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
